~ Two New Products! ~
One of the greatest opportunities we have had while living in
Virginia is to go deeper into our Spirituality. Kimmara is a hypnotist and two
new hypnosis session CD's have unfolded and are available as of June, 2011!
She writes:
My Spiritual journey has
included the teachings of Joel Goldsmith. In his teachings
he refers quite a bit to the hypnotism of the world. I am a
hypnotist and used this modality to assist people in
exploring past lives and removing habits they no longer
wanted in their lives. I often wondered if I could do a
hypnosis session that would anchor the truth about humans …
that we are the individual expression of God instead of a
human cut off from its source,
as the hypnotism of the world indicates. This project is my
gift to humans, may you realize that you are one with God.
Thank you, God. I Am.
Session 1 is the foundation,
where you now let your trust in God be
whole, you know that God is right there with you, that God
is your life, and that you can never be separate from God.
God is caring for you right now, you are and ever shall be
perfect, complete, and whole. You are an individual expression of
God, good, pure and innocent.
Session 2 continues with a deeper
acknowledgement of God where you know
that there is no
place where God ends and you begin. You know that you
are a divine instrument with which God uses to fulfill
Itself. You are now an observer, a beholder, you see God at
work in every individual and every situation. You now behold
the presence of God in every appearance.

~ Recording Starry Night ~
This is a story we tell about the recording of one song on
the Music For Candles, Starry Night CD. The very last song, Midnight Air,
is quite long. At the time we were using a recording device that made us go
through the song each time for each track. Most people do not know the
process of recording a CD. Well here is mini studio lesson ~ 101.
Each song has tracks ~ as many tracks as there are instruments or sounds, then
all of the tracks are "mixed" to blend them together then the whole CD is
"mastered" to blend each song together. Ok, so Midnight Air has about 15
tracks, three different Piano tracks, three flutes, one rattle, one drum, and so
on and on. James was in the process of laying down the rattle track
and had to wait for just the right time. This was after going through the
song about five times already and he was getting a bit "giddy" so he started
making funny faces. Darren (our engineer) and I (Kimmara) started laughing
and he motioned that he could hear us laughing which meant it could be
interfering with the recording. After he was finished we all thought it
would be a great idea to have laughter at the end of this song. They put
me (Kimmara) in the booth and told me to laugh at the end of the song, yeah
right! I didn’t want it to be a phony laugh and they said "don’t worry,
we’ll make you laugh." So here I am waiting until the very end of the song
to laugh on cue when all of a sudden right on cue they both "mooned" me. That
is how I received the credit "Laughter at the Moon" next to my picture in Starry
Night.

~ How Kimmara started playing the
Native American Flute ~
James has been a
musician for most of his life; he started out as a drummer, moved onto
Piano/synthesizers and plays Native American Flute. When James and I first
met in 1994 my only musical ability was to be able to put a CD into the stereo
and push play ... I did that very well, mind you. I really did not want to get
into his musical “space” … “teach me to play the piano, teach me to sing,
teach me this and that” … no, I just enjoyed his talents. He had already
produced one tape (yes, tape) and kept talking about this marketing concept with
music. This evolved into our company Music For Candles. James and I are very
Spiritual and we play “New Age” music. We call it Original ~ Gentle ~
Instrumental music. As the story goes in 1996 we decided to produce another
audio product with the new name. We had gotten my son a Native American
Flute for his birthday in May, 1996 and sometime in June or July I asked him if
he was playing it. He was living with his Dad at the time and told me no, that
his Dad made fun of him so I asked him if I could borrow it. James was in the
middle of recording the new CD and was in the studio three days a week. While
he was gone I started messing around with the flute. At first I put it away
before he could hear me or even knew that I had it. Three days after I started
I decided to keep playing when he came home. I was out on the deck in our back
yard and he came out asking who was playing that beautiful music. I told him it
was me and he just said “wow!” then he got all excited told me to come with him
to the piano and said “see what you can play with this”. Six months later we
did our first live concert and two years later we began working on our second
CD! I learned that if you get out of the way of yourself some pretty cool
things can happen. I never learned to read music and play exclusively from my
heart.
